People living in Mission Bend and Fountain View will soon be able to try El Bolillo Bakery’s Mexican baked treats a little closer to home.

The Mexican bakery chain announced its was opening a Mission Bend location sometime in April provided there are no hiccups. A Fountain View shop is also on the way and will open at an undetermined date.

El Bolillo has been around since 1998 and is famous for its assortment of baked goods, including pan dulce, tres leches and savory bolillos. The business already boasts three locations in Houston and Pasadena.
The Mission Bend shop along Texas 6 is the first location outside Beltway 8.
